Weather Drip Painting
10th May 2019
During Art we have been looking at the work of a famous American painter Jackson Pollock. He was famous for his abstract paintings, which made use of drips. We experimented with different ways to make drips e.g. using lollipop sticks, spoons, straws and paintbrushes. Then we made our own rainy day drip paintings. Finally, the children all posed with an umbrella and added themselves into their paintings.
I definitely think the next Jackson Pollock can be found in P3/4/5!
