Today, we joined the R/P1/P2 class on their trip to Tannaghmore Farm and Gardens. This was part of their WAU farming topic. We got to see lots of animals (some familiar and some unfamiliar) e.g. turkeys, Jacob sheep, Dexter cows, pigs, chicks and Pygmy goats. We got to pet all the animals, cuddle some of them and ask our knowledgeable guide Colin lots of questions about the animals and farming.
We then headed to the gardens after lunch and had great fun running about the maze. Thankfully, we all found our way out of the maze and back to the bus :-)
A great time was had by all and Mrs Scroggie now knows what she wants for Christmas...some baby pygmy goats!
