This week as part of anti-bullying week P3/4/5 read the story of 'Sammy's Shoes'. This was a story about a little boy called Sammy who was being bullied. In the story the bully ends up spending a day in 'Sammy's shoes' and soon realises how awful it is to be bullied. He also learns more about why Sammy behaves the way he does as Sammy has Autism.
The story provided lots to talk about and afterwards we all designed our own shoes. When we looked at all our shoes we realised that each design was unique- Just like all of us!
