Today we listened to the story of 'The Colour Monster' by Anna Llenas. This really helped the children link their feelings and emotions to colours that they associated with them.
After discussing how we felt during home school learning and the emotions that went alongside it, we decided to make a sensory bottle all about emotions.
Each child sprinkled in a little of each emotion that they felt and discussed why they felt this. We then shook them all up and watched the colours float around and sink to the bottom.
This was such a lovely task to get the children thinking and discussing their emotions.
