As part of our WW2 topic the children have been learning about the important role ARP wardens played. The children have learnt that they gave out gas masks, ensured that everyone obeyed the blackout regulations and helped people after bombs were dropped.
The children then made their own ARP warden hats to take home.
Don't be surprised if tonight around Kingsmills you hear someone in a green or black hat shouting 'Put that light out!'
